The Wall of Mist

I could see our neighbors' houses just down the road from ours. Our house was up on a slight hill while the part of the road our neighbors were on was at a lower elevation and the road scooped down toward their houses.

I got in my truck and headed down to the one neighbor's house. My neighbor and I chatted and then talked about the road itself. I asked him if he knew where it went and he said, "no."  I then asked if he wanted to see where it went.  He said, "sure."

We both hopped in my truck and drove for a short time on the road that was in front of his house. It seemed to just go through fields. The direction seemed south, but it was unclear.  We finally stopped after a short while as we came to a wall that seemed to be made of mist.  There was no end to it to the left and right.  We just kind of stared at it.  It was at this point where I became fully awake and was paying attention to what was going on around me.

Afghanistan Battle

My dream from this morning seemed to be in parts.  I don't recall much, but here is what I do remember:

The first part seemed to be in a desert area with hut-type buildings.  I was observing. There were people trying to shoot at each other around the buildings.

Part two... It was in a more residential area with a wooded park up the street with tall trees.  There was a large house, like a mansion, with lots of windows that the activity seemed to focus around. It was still seemingly in Afghanistan somewhere.  There were mortars being launched from behind the trees at the park, trying to hit the house and around that area.

Part three... Same location as part 2, but at a later period.  It was more of a battleground.  This time I seemed to be a participant instead of observing.  There was a building that was composed of dark lumber, like 4x4x8 in size.  The lumber was stacked to make walls as thick as the lumber.  It seemed to be a bunker of sorts, but my impression was that it was a makeshift house.  You could only enter through walking around the back, which was close to a concrete wall.  It seemed to end with no purpose or reason for it to end.
